Project Tkurbx
Tkurbx is an ongoing game development project based on the city of Turku, built within Roblox. The project focuses on creating a semi-realistic roleplay environment inspired by Finnish urban life, public services, and structured societal systems.
It is designed as an interactive world where players can take on different roles, participate in city systems, and shape their own gameplay paths. From public service careers such as police and rescue to business ownership and criminal roles, Tkurbx supports multiple playstyles within a single cohesive environment.
The project aims to go beyond traditional roleplay by building a system-driven city simulation where mechanics, roles, and interactions work together as a scalable foundation.
Core Concept & Systems
Tkurbx is built around flexible systems that can be reused and adapted across the world, supporting different styles of gameplay without locking players into fixed paths.
Alongside the game, the project includes internal tools that keep essential information within our own ecosystem. Instead of relying on external services like Trello, these tools simplify community and player management. The goal is to reduce unnecessary overhead while keeping workflows clear and accessible.
Players are given meaningful control, while the framework keeps things stable. Many situations are handled through player interaction and community decision-making rather than constant direct oversight from project leadership.
Inspired by the city of Turku and built within Roblox, Tkurbx focuses on practical systems, player-driven interaction, and a consistent roleplay environment.
